LAUDA Scientific Assumes Control of Measuring Instruments
Mar 27 2015
LAUDA Scientific GmbH, a full subsidiary of LAUDA DR R. WOBSTER GmbH has now taken responsibility for will the development, sales and customer service for the company’s measuring instruments business. Managing Director Dr. Gunther Wobser said: “With this important step we would like to give the expanding business division of measuring instruments its own identity. As a family company we continue to stand for long-term perspective and reliability. What’s new is the focus on innovation and customer-orientation with a new, strong brand.”
As a world-leading thermostating specialist LAUDA, which will be 60 next year, enjoys a long tradition of developing the link between precise thermostating and measuring instruments. As early as 1936 the company founder Dr. Rudolf Wobser developed a thermostat for the falling ball viscometer ready for series production, resulting in the first industrially manufactured thermostat worldwide. In the year 1967 he took the opportunity to integrate measuring instruments developed during the course of a cooperation with an important customer into the company and thus began an impressive success story.
LAUDA Scientific GmbH would like to continue this growth – at the same location and with the same trusted points of contact. In addition to Dr. Gunther Wobser the company will be led by Dr. Ulf Reinhardt as Managing Director. He has extensive experience in both measuring technology and company management. Dr. Ulf Reinhardt outlines the goals: “Through the focus developed by our own research and partnerships we will develop new methods and instruments for the precise, efficient determination of physical variables. Our long-term representations, our own sales and customer service support points as well as the entire strength of the LAUDA group with 420 specialists strengthen us in what is important to us: Outstanding proximity to the customer.”
