High-speed Chemical Resistant Diaphragm Pumps
Mar 17 2021
Wiggens is pleased to introduce the C-series of chemical resistant diaphragm pumps which are suitable for use in in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other industries, such as suction filtration, vacuum distillation, rotational evaporation, vacuum concentration, centrifugal concentration and solid phase extraction, to name a few.
C-series pumps are driven by diaphragm, with no additional belt-driven transmission, which eliminates the need of lubricant, regular oil and maintenance. All wetted parts of C series pump are made of PTFE which is ideal for extremely aggressive/corrosive gases and vapours. The sealing system provides reduced leakage rates for improved ultimate vacuum (1mbar).
Wiggens continue to extend their line of diaphragm pumps and apply new technologies to this series. An extra powerful motor drives multi-stage pump head, while ensuring the degree of vacuum, with a faster pumping speed. This means it can be used in larger systems, such as pilot reactors, industrial rotary evaporators and the semiconductor industry. The maximum pumping speed can up to 240L/min.
To vacuum a large system, the customer requirement is usually the need to reach a high vacuum faster while being able to stabilise at set values. Wiggens knows it is impossible for a high-speed vacuum pump to be just controlled by a solenoid valve, but the use of a variable frequency motor drive pump head can be easily achieved.
These frequency conversion vacuum pumps can reduce noise in the laboratory and extend the service life. To learn more about vacuum experiments, please contact Wiggens.
