Sterilin Ltd is showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of products on stand F26 Hall 1 at MEDICA 2009, 18-21 November, Dusseldorf, Germany.
The Sterilin range of single-use plastics comprises over 800 products for microbiology and life science laboratories and includes specimen containers, Petri dishes, multiwell plates and centrifuge tubes. Sterilin is keen to explore collaborative ventures and continues to feed its development pipeline of innovative new products. A number of dedicated OEM partners are already established worldwide.
For more than 40 years, the Sterilin brand name has been synonymous with quality in single-use plastics. This reputation has been established and maintained by the most stringent quality assurance standards in the industry. Branded products are manufactured at the BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accredited purpose-built facility in South Wales, UK, where continuous investment in the latest technology ensures every item is made to the highest quality.
As well as its own proprietary plastics, Sterilin also offers an extensive range of Iwaki cell biology products. This extends from standard flasks and dishes to gridded glass-based dishes designed to monitor individual cells over time in culture using confocal laser microscopy for live cell imaging. Sterilin Packaging Products offers a range of regular bottles with an extensive choice of closure options for the pharmaceutical industry. Moulded and extruded products, such as medical grade tubing or silicone discs for medical devices, can be custom manufactured to suit individual requirements by the Sterilin Silicone devices division.
