Founded by Edmund Rank the company soon branched out into instrument manufacture and has since gained a worldwide reputation for the quality and reliability of their products. The company has a well-equipped machine shop with modern CNC milling and turning centres that allow them to maintain the high standards and reproducibility of their products. They also carry out precision machining for similar companies and combined with sophisticated CADCAM software, allows them to produce rapid prototypes and low volume runs directly from their 3D models. They are also able to offer production engineering advice to customers and are pleased to be able to liaise directly with their design staff.
