NuAire's versatile ALLERGARD NU-617 is a Dual Access Cage Changing System that doubles as a sitdown
Clean Air Workstation for work with small animals. The adjustable height feature allows lab technicians to comfortably stand at the cabinet to perform cage changes, or with an optional clear acrylic Closure Panel, to close off one side of the changing station easily converting it to a sit-down procedure workstation with spacious knee room. A 35.56 cm access opening on all sides of the station handles most standard mouse and rat cages.

The NU-617 ALLERGARD system is ideal for Animal Cage Changing, Manipulations and Procedures where Class 100 sterility of research animals is required. The NU-617 also protects personnel from allergens shed during the sensitive handling of small animals and bedding materials that are effectively retained in
the exhaust HEPA filter. A four stage pre-filtration system over the exhaust HEPA filter ensures longer filter life.

The NU-617 ALLERGARD can be used with a variety of unique options, including a feed hopper, cage top
holder and a variety of shelves.
