Microbiology Testing Solutions

The Soleris™ system rapidly detects microbial contamination by monitoring the colour changes produced by changing PH and other reactions generated by microbial growth. The automated optical system needs only a fraction of the time of traditional methods, with significantly less hands on time. The Soleris system offers a wide array of rapid tests, including: E. Coli, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas, total viable count, coliforms, lactic acid bacteria, enterobacteriacea and yeasts and molds. Neogen Europe have recently introduced a NEW vial in vial system for Osmophillic Yeast. Osmophile yeasts can cause spoilage in the sugar and sweet goods industry, with products such as fruit juices, fruit juice concentrates, liquid sugars (such as golden syrup) and flavoured syrups for coffee, honey and in some cases marzipan and chocolate.

Food-Borne Pathogen Testing

Neogen’s Reveal® lateral flow tests for E. Coli 0157:H7 and Salmonella allows users to quickly and accurately screen samples for these pathogens. Reveal for E.Coli 0157:H7 utilises Neogen’s proprietary media to screen samples for this pathogen in as little as 8 hours. GeneQuence®’s automated DNA probe technology allows for the rapid and extremely accurate processing of samples for Salmonella, Listeria and Listeria monocytogenes.

Iso-Grid™ & Neo-Grid Hydrophobic™ Grid Membrane Filtration System

ISO-GRID and NEO-GRID membrane filtration systems utilise unique hydrophobic grid membrane filter technology to detect and quantify target organisms. AOAC approved 48 hour enumeration of yeast and mould. Combined with our proprietary media this system will allow fast, reliable detection of many target organisms including yeast and mould, coliforms, total plate count and Clostridium perfringens.

Colitag™ Water Colifroms Test

Colitag is the first definitive water test system for both total coliforms and E. Coli. Colitag is the only U.S patented system that definitively tests for both MUG-positive and MUG-negative E.Coli. Colitag automatically resuscitates, and then detects chlorine injured bacteria, using a ready-to-use medium that you simply combine with a water sample for results in about 24 hours.
