Hamilton Process Sensors with INDUCON® and MEMOSENS® Connector Heads

Starting at the beginning of this year Hamilton has provided the greatest range of connector heads on process sensors. Our choice of connectors has grown from 3 different connector heads (S8, K8 and VP) to 5 different connector heads.
The new connectors are INDUCON® and the MEMEOSENS® connections. These two connections have big advantages when compared to the common connectors. They are intelligent, digital, contactless electrochemical connectors.
This means elimination of common measuring problems like:

• Humidity
• Corrosion
• Problems with contacts
• Bad galvanic separation
• Too long or poorly isolated cable

The sensor may be calibrated in the laboratory and then placed into the process at any time as they store the calibration information and communicate this information to the transmitter. This means you can save time and money.
Also the connectors are insensitive to water and the connection can be made submersed. The signal from the sensor to the transmitter is digital so cable length is no longer important.
The INDUCON® system is compatible with KNICK® transmitters and the MEMOSENS® with Endress + Hauser transmitters.
InduCon® and KNICK® are registered trademarks of Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG, Berlin.
MEMOSENS® is a registered trademark of Endress + Hauser Conducta GmbH+Co.KG, Gerlingen
