White Wells Can Improve qPCR Results
Jul 28 2008
white, opaque colour. This leads up to a 10-fold increase in reflection of fluorescence, which provides better data for cutting-edge applications such as low volume qPCR. Due to the more homogenous background of the white colour compared to clear wells, data from replicates becomes more homogenous. This results in lower standard deviation over a plate, which can be crucial to further process the data in multivariate analyses.
