Where do your Plastic Tip Trays Go
Jan 29 2010
Cardboard tip trays from Dutscher Scientific offer a real solution to having a recycling scheme in your lab that takes up space. Since most plastic reprocessing leads to secondary products that are not themselves recycled, this material is only temporarily diverted from landfill.
The Edek tip trays weigh a lot less than a plastic rack, saving energy to transport. They are printed with water based inks and after use can be flattened and recycling with other lab cardboard.
The tips inside the tray are called ONETOUCH™. They have a pliable plastic top which means they require minimal force to seal. Less force to seal, less force to eject. Good news for reducing wrist and forearm strain. They are available with and without a filter, sterile and are universal fit.
