In-line Sample Heater Brings Samples Up from Storage Temperature, Maintains at Body Temperature

Achieving and maintaining the consistent sample temperature required for accurate reaction results can be challenging. DIBA Industries removes this process variable with In-line Sample Heaters for IVD and scientific analysis. The embedded heater assembly brings samples from refrigerated temperature to reaction temperature and minimizes heat losses from transferring samples from warming vessels to reaction vessels, resulting in more accurate results.

By handling the sample fluid within a contained, single unit, the sample can be easily heated to reaction temperature without being exposed to cooling elements. The sample is aspirated into an inert fluid line, heated to temperature, and dispensed directly to the reaction vessel to mix with reagents. The single line assembly, with no connection points, eliminates the collection of sample fluid in dead spaces to prevent carryover problems.

DIBA’s In-line Sample Heaters, Flared Tubing Assemblies, and Torque Right fittings produce a consistent fluid path and internal tubing diameter in any type of fluid line, eliminating leaks, dead volumes and carryover problems. DIBA also offers a complete line of aspirate/dispense, piercing, level sensing, vented, fluoropolymer coated and fluoropolymer lined reagent and sample transfer probes.
