LED Illuminator Launched to Critical Acclaim

Visitors to the CoolLED booth were able to test the pE-100 on a variety of microscopes. All pE -series products benefit from the many advantages of CoolLED’s unique cooled-array LED technology, including: instant on/off;
intensity control; saves money; long lifetime; and no hazardous mercury.

With the largest range of LED wavelengths, CoolLED can offer LED illumination matched to the requirements of the microscopists. This can be for a specific test (such as screening for tuberculosis), to a particular fluorophore
(such as Auramine) or for a wavelength region.

CoolLED builds its LED products using bare LED die and is not limited by the availability of packaged LEDs. This means that LED wavelengths can be optimised for specific applications.
