Fume Cabinet Range Offers High Level Protection and Economical Running Costs

Clean air is expensive. Ducted fume cabinets and enclosures are one of the largest operational and maintenance costs a lab has to take into consideration. The one-off cost for construction of ductwork may seem appealing, however, the on-going cost of power and increased HVAC load on the facility can be significant.

Bigneat recirculating fume cabinets are a highly efficient option providing excellent levels of operator protection. They are simpler to install and typically have lower on-going running costs than a ducted system. During operation clean recirculated air is returned to the room with all harmful airborne pollutants removed. In addition, they can be easily relocated should the need arise. A ducted system would simply expel pollutants to the atmosphere causing environmental damage and potential risk to people that live nearby the facility.
