New Refractometer Announced As Replacement to the Rfm340

Leading refractometer and polarimeter manufacturers' Bellingham and Stanley Ltd complete their quadruple new instrument launch this April with the announcement of a replacement instrument to the world leading RFM340 refractometer.

The RFM300+ refractometers encompass attributes of their predecessors and also offer wider refractive index range and Peltier temperature control. The shallow, easy to clean prism dish houses a single sapphire prism allowing it to be used in harsh factory environments as well as the laboratory. Smart temperature stability checks ensure that results are only shown when both the temperature and reading are stable in Refractive Index, °Brix and up to 100 users scales, all accessed by a simple method system.

Earlier in the year, Bellingham + Stanley Ltd. launched the ADP440 polarimeter. Designed particularly with the pharmaceutical industry in mind, the ADP440 provides optical rotation readings to 3-decimal places and when used in conjunction with company SOP's, offers the ability to output results in compliance with the technical requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11. A method system also allows for simple user configuration so that specific rotation or even concentration may be displayed directly.

The above two instruments are complimented in 2007 by the launch of new RFM700 refractometers and the simple to use ADS420 saccharimeter.
