Movable Underbench Cabinets

Underbench cabinets, tested and certified in accordance with the European Norm 14470-1 for safety storage cabinets, are a permanent feature in today’s laboratories.

They take advantage of empty space, for example under hazardous material workplaces. Especially Asecos type 90
models offer maximum safety in storing hazardous materials. They provide fire resistance to the dangerous
cabinet content for at least 90 minutes. There is only one blemish: Occasionally moving these cabinets can cause problems.

It can prove difficult to move the cabinet, for example when checking extraction points at the rear. Also the floor can possibly be damaged.Asecos underbench cabinets solve this problem.

Equipped with a 30mm high movable plinth and four to six castors (depending on the model width) the cabinets can beeasily moved to every position required. An integrated locking mechanism can be screwed out or in with a wrench through the small orifices and fixes the underbench cabinet at the required position. At the same time the user can carry out adjustments to compensate any floor unevenness. If the locking device is screwed in the cabinet can be moved again.
