First proven PFAS destruction solution
Jul 11 2025
Arvia Technology has introduced Florenox™, a new electrochemical oxidation reactor designed to destroy PFAS - the persistent ‘forever chemicals’ found in many industrial and consumer products.
PFAS are difficult to break down due to their strong carbon-fluorine bonds, making them a widespread environmental concern. Traditional methods like landfill or incineration only relocate the problem without destroying the chemicals.
Florenox™ uses Arvia’s patent-pending Nyex.3™ electrodes, which generate reactive radicals capable of breaking the carbon-fluorine bond directly. Its 3D electrode design increases surface area and lifespan, making it highly effective at treating PFAS concentrates from sources like foam fractionation, leachate, and firefighting foam residues.
With PFAS regulations tightening globally, Arvia urges industries to act now to manage contamination risks and avoid costly legal consequences. Trials of Florenox™ are available to help businesses find tailored treatment solutions.
