New ranges of laboratory equipment announced

Analytix supplies Labtech laboratory equipment that includes recirculating chillers, gas generators, rotary evaporators, centrifuges, concentrators, and liquid nitrogen generators. New for 2020 includes rotary evaporators, recirculating chillers, and centrifuges.

New series of rotary evaporators

A new series of rotary evaporators by Labtech is available with multiple built-in safety features including flask autolift in the event of a power failure, bath auto shutdown in the event of low water level, and an innovative bath design to prevent corrosion and splashing.

The evaporators are available with a vertical or horizontal condenser and include colour digital display to monitor and control temperature and rotation speed from 20–300 rpm. Systems incorporate a motorised vertical lift, capability for evaporation flasks up to 3 litres, and on-line sample addition.

The heating bath is suitable for both water or oil and features self-calibration with a temperature range from ambient to 230°C. The digital rotation speed control and bath temperature display ensure accurate and stable system operation.

Options include a range of chillers and vacuum pumps. A vacuum controller coupled with an oil-free pump has a control range of 0-999mbar with a precision of 1mbar and provides step vacuum control. Three noise free vacuum pumps specifically designed for the rotary evaporators provide a comprehensive solution for a wide range of applications.

New lightweight lab bench chiller

A new lightweight chiller by Labtech is available that has excellent cooling capabilities coupled with portability and compactness. The system does not have a compressor and employs Peltier cooling providing a temperature range from 5°C to 35°C with an accuracy of ±0.05°C and a flow rate of 5L/min.

The chiller is extremely light with a compact footprint that allows it to be located on a laboratory bench and is an ideal solution for applications such as UV-VIS that require a portable, efficient and flexible instrument.

Analytix additionally offers a comprehensive range of 11 chillers from Labtech with cooling power from 0.5kw to 9kw providing temperatures -20°C to 35°C and silent running. Each system is floor standing with casters for easy transportation inside the laboratory.
