New Vibration Free - Chilling Incubators are Ideal for Protein Crystallography

Torrey Pines Scientific announces the EchoTherm™ vibration free bench top chilling incubators that are ideal for protein crystallography and other life science laboratory uses. 

The incubators are Peltier-based for heating and chilling.  They have no compressors or CFC's and are vibration-free making them ideal for doing protein crystallisations. 

Other applications include incubating marine samples below room temperature, enzyme reactions and deactivations, hybridisations, ligations, storing oocytes, and general lab incubations. 

There are six models, three fully programmable and three simple digital.  Chamber sizes are 27.5 litre, 55.0 or 100 litre.  They are settable to 0.1°C from 4.0° to 70.0°C and are accurate to 0.1°C.  All models feature PID temperature control, digital display, RS232 I/O port for remote control and data collection, digital timer in hours, minutes and seconds with user settable Auto-Off, temperature ramping, and audible alarms. 

The 27.5 litre unit chambers are 12" high by 10" deep by 14" wide and come with two stainless steel racks with room for four.  The 55.0 litre unit chambers are 24” high by 10” deep x 14” wide and come with four stainless steel racks with room for six, and the 100 litre models have chambers of 24” high by 20” deep x 14” wide and come with 4 racks with room for six. 

The units are shipped with universal power supplies that take AC line inputs from 100VAC to 265VAC, 50/60 Hz and converts that to 12 volts DC for the units, AC line cord for the country of use, user's manual and full 12-month warranty.  They are UL, CSA, and CE compliant.
