NuAire In-Vitrocell direct heat CO2 incubators
Jul 22 2024
The NuAire In-Vitrocell CO2 incubator offers control of chamber parameters and contamination to microbiological laboratories performing advanced cell culture requiring complete control and protection. Unlike some incubators that only control a small number of parameters, our direct heat models can be built to directly control temperature, CO2 levels, O2 levels, and relative humidity in one chamber. This design routes fresh air and gas through disk filters when they initially enter the incubator. The air pump constantly recirculates chamber air through a separate bay located under the chamber where a HEPA filter cleans it, and gas sensors measure its CO2 and O2 levels. The air is then returned to the chamber after going through a humidity reservoir if more RH is needed. This HEPA filter placement outside the chamber provides the benefits of filtration without clutter. Finally, since the best defences are layered, HEPA filtration is backed up by positive chamber pressure and a choice of two decontamination cycles on most units to provide integrated contamination control.
