TEA for use in EN 71-12:2013 Nitrosamines in Toys Directive

Nitrosamines are highly toxic compounds that can enter the body through ingestion or skin adsorption.  It is now required that levels N-nitrosamines and N-nitrosable substances in certain types of toys are accurately monitored as many cancers have been attributed to the exposure of nitrosamines or nitrosamine forming compounds. The new chemical requirements for toys under the EU Safety Directive 2009/48/EC came into force on the 20^th July 2013.
