High Purity Gas Analysis Solutions
May 26 2011
The rack mounted high purity gas analyser (HPGA) is the latest chromatography solution from Ellutia. These systems have been designed with complete flexibility in its configuration, with input from major gas supply companies, to ensure they satisfy the industry requirements. This allows up to two detectors, multiple columns in an air blown oven and up to five switching valves for full multi-dimensional chromatography. The systems are designed in a 6U 19” rack module, with a secondary module containing the supply gas conditioning units. All systems come equipped with
welded VCR fittings for high integrity gas connections and allowing easy servicing.
Detection limits as low as 5 ppb for trace elements, can be obtained when using a Pulsed Discharge Ionisation Detector (PDID) and low percent levels for the larger matrix components using a Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD). Other two detector combinations available include a PDID and Flame Ionisation Detector (FID) for its large linear range for hydrocarbons and the use of two PDID detectors to gain greater flexibility at high sensitivity. Each system possesses dual analogue output for ease of connection to integrators such as Clarity for standard integration and reporting. Ellutia can also produce and supply fully customised software to integrate with a customer existing manufacturing or control systems. The software can incorporate operations such as automated control, reporting, error checking and communication with other parts of the customers system.
The systems can analyse:
H2, Ar/02, N2 CH4, CO, CO2, C2H6, Kr, Xe and Freons
In the matrix gasses
H2, Ar, O2, N2, CO2, HCl, SiH4, BCl3, N2O, CF4 and SF6
Ellutia’s Customer Support Manager, Richard Jaroszewicz said
“We have been helping a number of customers maintain old outdated analysis systems and have had many requests for us to design a system as they were not satisfied with offerings from other manufacturers. So we are delighted to be able to now offer these fantastic modern systems to fulfil the customers exacting requirements”
