Troubled by Sample Solubility When Performing LC Purification?

May 21 2009

Lack of column capacity occurs when there are solubility limitations caused by the sample that you need to purify. The normal solution is to simply increase the number of injections, which increases the time and the cost of the project prorate.

Now there is a new solution from Dynamic Extractions, which is to use a HPCCC instrument, which fits in and is completely compatible with your existing LC system and allows you to use a liquid stationary phase to solve the solubility problem. Now you have both liquid mobile and stationary phases and your sample injection options have now been tripled. You can load either in the mobile or stationary phase or a mixture of the two, whichever combination allows you the highest loading per injection.
