“They are Golden, they are Golden”

Wide range of high performance patented RediSep Rf Gold™ Flash columns now available from Presearch!
These allow Chemists the fexibility to run purifications either optimized for resolution (Gold Resolution) or for speed (Gold Speed). The columns contain smaller particle spherical silica media, available in normal phase, C18, amine, cyano and diol in sizes from 4 to 1500g.
Gold Resolution mode is used for closely eluting compounds that don’t typically separate on standard Flash-grade silica gel columns. The superior media can handle dificult purifications such as trace compounds and
isomers. Gold Resolution mode uses the same method settings as a standard column on most Flash chromatography systems - simply replace your column with a higher performance Rf Gold silica column.
Gold Speed methods are ideal for compounds where speed is more critical. Using higher flow rates with steeper gradient profiles, the Gold media produces sharper peaks shortening runs by an average of 60%, and
resulting in savings of greater than 30% on solvent usage. In addition, the purified product will be more concentrated in fewer fractions resulting in reduced drying times.
Compared to standard flash chromatography columns, RediSep Rf Gold silica columns provide better resolution, with less backpressure. High backpressure from irregular media columns can limit the flow rate on lower
pressure flash systems, thereby increasing purification run times.
Most Flash Chromatography systems can be programmed to emulate Gold Resolution and Gold Speed modes. However the CombiFlash® Rf can do this automatically using RFID column detection linked to stored methodology. Presearch Ltd.
