Dubai will again host ARABLAB, the laboratory and instrumentation industry’s biggest international show in the Middle East and Asia, and the only event that covers all of the important growth markets of the Middle East, China, the Indian sub-continent, south-east Asia and Africa. Now in its 32nd year, ARABLAB has grown from just 40 pioneering exhibitors from a handful of countries to some 900 of the industry’s leading companies from all over the globe, focussing on laboratory technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, environmental sciences, robotics and automation, analytical instrumentation, and measurement and testing, and is regarded by the industry as one of the most important annual events in the calendar, giving access to the world’s most vibrant petrochemical sector and providing an introduction to the world’s biggest biotechnology market. All the industry’s foremost companies will be exhibiting, with national groups from Austria, China, Germany, India, Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom, and with many seeking distributors throughout the region.
More visitors, more opportunities
ARABLAB 2014 welcomed more than 11,000 visitors from over 100 countries, representing just about every discipline, grain technicians and forensic criminologists, university professors and industrial chemists, molecular geneticists and metallurgists, medical researchers and marine scientists, who came to Dubai to evaluate and purchase the latest technology and equipment.
Jean-Claude Alder, General Manager for Mettler-Toledo Sales International GmbH said ARABLAB “creates a wonderful environment that allows a good amount of face time with lab equipment manufacturers from around the world. It helps to advance the lab equipment industry in general and gives our clients and prospects a chance to discuss their most pressing lab challenges with our international team of experts.”
Dedicated sections
With its dedicated sections, the entire exhibition, 20% larger than the 2014 event, has been designed to make it easy for visitors to find suppliers relevant to their area of interest.
MEDILAB - The Buying Source for Effective Medical Research
The rapidly developing infrastructure of the Middle East, as well as the growth of the population within the region, has meant that Medical Laboratory Management and Clinical Chemistry Management are recognised as growth industries. MEDILAB enables manufacturers to meet with medical technicians and clinical chemists.
BIOLAB - The One-Stop-Shop for the Bio Business
With the increased awareness of the importance of the Life Sciences & Biotechnology Industry from global markets, the organisers are once again pleased to announce BIOLAB as a dedicated sector of ARABLAB 2014.
PETROLAB - The Research Source for the Petro Industry
Throughout the Middle East the strong global demand for petrochemicals and crude oil has meant that quality control, as well as research and development facilities, are expanding at a rapid rate. PETROLAB provides face-to-face opportunities for technicians working in analysis and testing.
NANOLAB - Small Steps Leading to Gigantic Leaps
A dedicated sector featuring the very latest ‘state of the science’ technologies from the world’s industry leaders, NANOLAB provides specialist manufacturers with the opportunity to meet technicians and analysts working in this sector.
FOODLAB - Quality Assurance in Food Control Laboratories
Increasing attention is focussed on Quality Control in Food Production.
Expanded programme of seminars
Complementing the exhibitions themselves is a packed seminar programme, which offers invaluable opportunities to gain information about the industries’ latest developments, as well as a convenient forum for discussion and networking. So popular have the seminars proved that the 2015 programme includes over 100 sessions, with discussion groups covering a wide variety of topics. All visitors to ARABLAB and ENVIROTEC are entitled to attend seminars free of charge. However, with seats reserved on a first come, first served basis, the organisers recommend that visitors book their seats in advance on line at www.arablab.com.
NEW FOR 2015 - ENVIROTEC
The rapidly developing infrastructure of the Middle East and Asia has resulted in a huge demand for technologies and systems that will help improve and manage the environment. Authorities from countries of the GCC, MENA region, as well as China, the Indian sub continent and South East Asia are all concerned with putting in place environmental control and protection systems.
ENVIROTEC, the new International Show for Tomorrow’s Environmental Technology, provides the sector’s technicians and analysts with the opportunity to meet specialist manufacturers. Held alongside ARABLAB the new show enables the Environmental Technology Industry to target an established and comprehensive audience of global buyers.
Companies exhibiting at the show include specialists in the fields of Air & Climate, Energy & Renewables, Environmental Management, Health & Safety, Monitoring & Testing, Soil & Groundwater, Waste & Recycling and Water & Wastewater.
The ENVIROTEC multi-sector seminar program will feature a series of high-profile presentations on topics that include AIRTEC, the effective learning source for technology controlling clean air; SOILTEC, the advance of effective instrumentation in soil testing;
POLLUTEC, the analytical approach for the measurement and testing of pollution; WASTETEC, providing a research source for controlled management of waste; and WATERTEC, the efficient control and management for supplies of clean water.
