First App for Membrane Chromatography Introduced

According to the motto ‘Sartobind goes mobile’, Sartorius Stedim Biotech introduces its first smartphone application (App) for the Sartobind membrane adsorber portfolio. The Sartobind App provides mobile users with useful selection and training tools to complement the product portfolio, and provides links to all the literature available in the digital library.

The product finder feature enables the beginners and experts to select the appropriate membranes required for capture chromatography that is utilised in binding viruses or large proteins versus flow-through polishing processes, which is used to remove DNA, host cell proteins and other charged contaminants from a target molecule.
