The 4 aces of Temperature control from Huber

Huber has a winning hand with a suite of compact, high power, low cost products.

Huber offer temperature control systems to match the demands of almost any application requirement. Ranging from the Unistat Hybrid, which can be intergrated into centralised systems for large volume reactors, to small chillers, immersion and circulation thermostarts for a range of applications. Despite their size, these units are real all-rounders, offering incredible power with small foot prints and environmentally friendly refrigeration - making them truly product aces.

The Petite Fleur, the baby tango is the smallest Unistat temperature control system. With a footprint of just 260 x 450 x 504 the petite fleur offers a temperature range of -120 to +200 °C with cooling capacity of 480 Watts at 20°C. The Petite Fleur is ideal for the control of reactors and an externally open version is now available.

Huber Ministats are the smallest cooling thermostats in the world! Despite their size they have enough power to thermoregulate photometers, refractometers, viscosimeters, distillation apparatus, reactor vessels and mini plants. Their compact form allows them to be placed in areas where space is at a premium, for example laboratory extraction hoods. Ministats are available in 3 models with a temperature range from -45 to +200°C and cooling capacities of 600 watts. They can be used to control externally closed applications or alternatively objects can be thermoregulated directly within the bath.

The compact Minichiller is designed as a space saving tower and with a footprint of just 225 x 360mm it takes up less bench space than many laptops. With a temperature range of -20 to +40°C and cooling capacity of 300 watts at 15°C, Minichillers are ideal for cooling reaction blocks, vapour traps, vacuum pump condensers, rotary evaporators or heat exchangers, supplying predictable and correct pressure, flow and temperature to applications resulting in tangible process efficiencies. Because the Minichiller’s internal volume is only 2 litres, it eliminates the risk of flooding in the laboratory. This allows the process to be run unattended further increasing efficiency.
The MPC range of low cost heating and cooling immersion circulators have now been improved, featuring a 4 digit temperature display with a resolution of 0.1 °C. The mechanical over temperature setting has been replaced by a digital LED Display. In addition the option to select the temperature control mode (internal/process) has been added. All models are available as an “Advanced Version” with an RS232 interface and external Pt100 sensor connection. MPC’s reach a stability of +-0.05 °C, they are fitted with over temperature and low level protection, meeting safety class III/FL (DIN 12876).
