Our Outlook on the Future

Many will be thinking the future looks gloomy with the credit crunch and job losses running at record levels. Times are hard it?s true but there are opportunities emerging as a result of the changes we are seeing. The Pound to Euro exchange rate favours foreign attendees of meetings in the UK and puts paid to the former jibe of ?London is too expensive for us Europeans to visit?. ChromSoc is becoming more active in Europe by encouraging scientists from the euro zone countries to come, sample and share our mutual interests in science. We are supporting and closely associated with the European Society for Separation Science.
