We've sealed the deal with Sealwise, adding their WCB anti-bacterial furniture to our Labs range.
Anti-bacterial
Teknomek have teamed up with Sealwise to offer our new range of hygienic furniture made from Sealwise's unique Waterproof Construction Board (WCB), ideal for use in laboratories and other lab environments, such as Food Development.
Sealwise WCB provides an ideal solution for laboratories because each sheet has anti-bacterial protection built in. Sealwise Protect (Silver Ion) technology is used to treat all WCB surfaces and cannot be removed, however rigorous the cleaning or wear and tear. The anti-bacterial coating inhibits the growth of deadly bacteria, such as e-Coli, MRSA, Listeria and Salmonella and reduces odours.
100% Waterproof
As well as its anti-bacterial credentials, Sealwise WCB is 100% waterproof, not just water resistant, ensuring no damage to the material by water ingress, spillages, mould or bacterial growth, and no expansion of the board. This, combined with its overall durability, lightweight flexibility and high chemical resistance, makes Sealwise WCB ideal for laboratory environments, where contamination control and maintaining a hygienic culture is critical.
Sealwise WCB allows for seamless furniture construction with its patented W14 joining system, which chemically welds WCB boards together to provide a homogenous, long lasting and sturdy seal. This also adds to the flexibility of the Sealwise range, with hundreds of potential hygienic furniture applications across all laboratory sectors.
Eco - Friendly
With limited fixings and no dirt traps, Sealwise products are easy to clean, minimising clean down times and therefore increasing productivity.
Sealwise WCB also has excellent eco credentials. It is made from PVC which, due to recent advances in recycling processes, is viewed as one of the greenest materials available because it can be recycled multiple times. The outer top and bottom surface of Sealwise WCB is made from virgin PVC, meaning the board is food grade, and the core of the board is made from recycled UPVC.

Teknomek Sealwise hygienic furniture come with a Teknomek blue edging as standard, but can also be customised to any colour – including black, to match our other labs range, Trespa®. For even more customisable options, the Sealwise WCB allows full colour printing with any messaging you may require – ideal for first aid cupboards, locker door identification and much more.
