Factory-Calibrated IR Analysers for Fuel Blend Analysis Provide Measurement Data in Under a Minute
Apr 02 2014
Factory-calibrated portable infrared analysers, available from Wilks (USA) – A Spectro Inc. Company, determine the percent of ethanol in gasoline or biodiesel in diesel in under a minute to ensure correct fuel blends. Models are available for measuring various ethanol or biodiesel ranges from 0.2 – 100%. The InfraCal Blend Analyzers are portable, rugged, compact and specifically designed for use by non-technical personnel. The user can take on-site measurements in under a minute at fuel terminals, service stations or do tanker spot checks and not have to wait days for off-site test results.
The InfraCal Blend Analyzers are low-cost analysers that weigh less than 5 lbs. and can be operated from a battery pack or cigarette lighter adapter cable. They are self-contained with an internal calibration program and direct readout display. The InfraCal Blend Analyzers are ideal for use in laboratories or in a rugged environment where a single, repetitive analysis is needed. They are currently being used by many major oil companies, regulatory agencies, fuel distributors and terminal operators. They provide the assurance that fuels blends meet specifications.
