The Scientific Laboratory Show & Conference 2024 will take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre.
Parking
The East Midlands Conference Centre has over 200 complimentary car parking spaces available onsite within the confines of the EMCC and Orchard Hotel. Overflow car parking is available on University campus however when parking outside of the EMCC and Orchard hotel barriers the client will need to display a valid car parking permit which is available at reception or from the car parking attendants who will assist during the event.
Please note permits must be displayed in the vehicle or parking penalties may be issued.
Display your parking voucher face-up in a prominent position on the inside of the windscreen where all details can be clearly read from the outside of the vehicle. Please note, failure to display a voucher as detailed will result in a civil parking notice being issued.
The parking voucher is valid only for the event on the date(s) shown for the event title on the face.
The issue of a parking voucher does not guarantee the availability of a parking space and must be used in accordance with any guidance issued by the Security office.

The East Midlands Conference Centre
Set in 330 acres of The University of Nottingham's landscaped parkland and with over 25 years' experience, the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC) has the flexibility to accommodate up to 1000 delegates.
This is the fifth time that the event will be held at the EMCC, as it continues to offer fantastic facilities, it benefits from state of the art lighting, projection and audio-visual facilities, perfect for the show and conference. This year we will be utilising all the space the EMCC offers to provide room for more exhibitors and by using a variety of meeting rooms for the conference workshops and seminars.
The De Vere Orchard Hotel
Adjacent to The East Midlands Conference Centre is the De Vere Orchard Hotel. This four-star contemporary hotel opened in December 2012 and is unique in the fact that it is Nottingham’s first eco-friendly purpose-built venue, designed for both business and leisure visitors.
