Abstract Title: Taking CEMS availability to the next level with Digitalization
Presenter Name: Mrs Ellie Armitt
Company/Organisation: ABB
Country: United Kingdom

Abstract Information :

Across the world, environmental regulations on emissions are increasingly getting more and more stringent. These regulations often require continuous measurement and control of pollutants with demanding availability requirements. Non-compliance has never been more expensive. Gas analyzers provide that real-time data needed to stay compliant, but this advanced equipment needs skilled maintenance and service support staff to ensure compliance with the regulations. Local skilled staff are often stretched, or not available 24/7, and for some operations it may not be possible to have on-site expertise at all. ABB offers full-scope solutions for emission monitoring and is making the shift towards CEMS as a Service (CEMSaaS). This paper will describe the comprehensive range of gas analyzers and associated digital solutions, including the new Genix Datalyzer™ - ABB’s cloud hosted data analytics platform for fleet-wide asset health monitoring. Through analysis of emissions data and associated equipment, including sample handling systems, ABB are increasing accuracy and availability whilst reducing the need for local intervention and skill level required to operate these systems. Through an innovative service agreement delivered by factory trained service engineers, ABB are changing the business model and offering Total Measurement Care with known costs so that our customers can focus on their business.
