Gilson’s PIPETMAN® L Multichannel Pipettes with V-ring Technology Earns Product Design Award

Middleton, WI (April 2022) – Gilson, a leader in liquid handling technology, today announced that PIPETMAN® L multichannel pipettes featuring V-rings were awarded a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022. The PIPETMAN L multichannel pipettes equipped with V-rings were a group of products that stood out among a record number of entries evaluated by an international jury. Since 1993, the Red Dot Award has come to represent high standards of design quality.

The Red Dot award-winning PIPETMAN L multichannel pipettes offer compatibility with a broader range of pipette tips. The V-rings at the bottom of the pipette tip holder ensure proper fit with most tip brands, providing researchers increased flexibility and improving the reliability of liquid transfers.

The four winning pipettes cover volumes ranging from 20 µL to 300 µL. As with other PIPETMAN L air displacement pipettes, these models are ergonomically designed to minimize pipetting forces and reduce fatigue. They also offer a volume-locking mechanism, ensuring no accidental volume changes during pipetting cycles, which could impact accuracy and precision. PIPETMAN L models also feature a DataMatrix 2D code for easy traceability.
