This publication covers the indicators developed to assess progress against the Natural Environment White Paper, published in 2011 under the 2010 to 2015 Coalition government.
A set of metrics is being developed to assess progress towards the goals of the 25 year plan for the environment framework that was published in January 2018. Reporting on these metrics will supersede the England Natural Environment Indicators publication and the 2018 release is therefore the last in the current series.
