Phoretix 1D 1.3 Release Notes
We’re excited to announce the launch of Phoretix 1D version 1.3, a free update for all our existing subscribers!
This latest update enhances your gel and blot analysis with powerful new features, including:
- Multi-add bands for quantity calibration mode
- Multiband normalization
- Included image editor
- Ability to type in normalization values (rather than multiples of 10)
- Automatic peak width detection
- Calibration report to have name of file used for calibration
- Individual lane background subtractions and band detections
- Report: Project Title in Header/Footer
- Calibration Report: Bad OD Values identified
- Annotate images and graphs with a generic Annotate function
- Improve GUI of tables, include sort functions and easy navigation
- Zoom in profile when zooming in the image
- Improve visualization of Coomassie stained gel, contrast of blue
- Manual background subtraction option
- Remove several bands in image together with right mouse click and drag
- Why would you want min or maximum from a shape for background
- Display of fluorescent images- Cy5 directly in red, Cy3 in green and so on
- Show the MW information in all the remaining steps after MW calculation
- Possible to select number of decimals for display (but use all for calculations)
- Work on layout for high resolution image export
- Improved fine tuning of gamma setting [Contrast Control]
- Better display of individual pixels in profile
- Lane: move lane box edges- not only with corners, but as a straight line to avoid changing RF values
- Bands: Better band detection algorithm directly in the image- now it is always showing the same box size
- Possibility to export/copy color scale bar with max and min limits and simple scale. Improve GUI for Export image with this new feature
- In MW view: show also the bands in boxes instead of only the points
